Privacy Policy

Effective September 3, 2026

This covers two things: this website (reelsyncstudio.com), and the ReelSync Studio desktop application. If anything here is unclear, email support@reelsyncstudio.com and a real person will answer.

The short version

• The desktop app renders your videos entirely on your own PC. Your voiceover, script, and footage are never uploaded anywhere.
• We don't have user accounts, passwords, or a database of your personal information.
• The website's contact form sends your message straight to our inbox via a third-party form processor — nothing else is collected.
• Payment is handled entirely by Gumroad — we never see or store your card details.

What the website collects

Contact form. If you use the Support form, your name, email address, and message are sent to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, and land in our support inbox. We use it only to reply to you — never for marketing, and never sold or shared beyond what's needed to respond.

Standard server logs. Like effectively every website, our host (Cloudflare) automatically logs things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and performance reasons. We don't personally review this or tie it to who you are.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare's built-in Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't build a profile of individual visitors — it only reports aggregate numbers like page views and load times.

We don't use marketing cookies, ad trackers, or third-party tracking pixels anywhere on this site.

What the desktop app collects

ReelSync Studio processes your voiceover, script, and footage entirely on your own computer to render the final video — none of that ever leaves your machine.

The only thing that talks to our servers is license activation: when you activate a license key, your device sends that key and a hardware identifier (a non-personal fingerprint of your PC, not tied to your name) to our license server, purely to confirm the license is valid for that device. That's the extent of it — no usage tracking, no telemetry about your projects, footage, or renders.

Payments

All purchases (the $1 trial and the lifetime license) are processed entirely by Gumroad. We never receive or store your card number or billing details — Gumroad handles that under their own privacy policy. We only receive confirmation that a purchase happened, so we can issue your license key.

Community links

The Discord and Telegram links on this site take you to third-party platforms with their own separate privacy policies and terms. Anything you share there is governed by Discord's or Telegram's own rules, not ours.

Data retention

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and for basic record-keeping — not indefinitely, and never used to build a marketing list. If you'd like a message deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email support@reelsyncstudio.com. Since we don't maintain user accounts or a customer database beyond license records and support emails, most requests are quick to resolve.

Children

This site and app aren't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be mentioned via our Discord and Telegram channels.
